Recipe for Laughter...

Take Malcolm and Eddie's Eddie Griffith and 7 UP's Orlando Jones, put them together in a film and some real funny stuff is bound to happen. Double Take, the new Touchstone film directed by George Gallo, was released on Friday, Jan. 12 and it is stupid-funny and I mean that in a good way. There was no way that these two comedic icons could come together and not work out the stomach muscles of filmgoers everywhere. The switching of this film's characters, successful New York investment banker, Daryl Chase (Orlando Jones) and low-life petty thief, Freddy Tiffany (Eddie Griffin) is just the beginning of the double take. If you need to just let go and free your mind of more serious things then Double Take is a must see as you get your laugh on!

Did you know?

Orlando Jones' first job in Hollywood was as a writer for the NBC sitcom A Different World, he then wrote for ROC Live, and later became a producer for the Fox series The Sinbad Show.

Eddie Griffin's fast track to the comedy spotlight began in Kansas City, Mo. where he was the half-time show choreographer for a soccer team. While hanging out at a comedy club, his cousin bet him $50 that he wouldn't go up on stage. Griffin seized the moment, won the bet and hasn't left the stage since.
